Classic and Ginger Lemonade



I’ve always loved sour things. So much so, that I actually eat lemons whole. Like a grapefruit. So it’s really no surprise that when it comes to lemonade I need to take it upon myself to make it right. Honestly, I think Newman’s Own is DISGUSTING! You people are ridiculous.. it tastes nothing like lemons. Most brands are too sweet, taste like chemicals, or taste like water (Hello, Trop50!) The only brand that comes close to anything even resembling the taste of a lemon is the Simply Lemonade. and while I’m on the topic, I might as well throw out that Simple Orange and Simple Orange with Mango are BY FAR the best orange juices you can buy in a grocery store.

There are a few great things about making your own lemonade.
1. It’s easy.
2. You know all of the ingredients in it.
3. You can concoct it to taste more sweet, more tangy, more watery, whatever you like!


  • 8 Lemons (don’t you DARE use gross fake lemon juice)
  • 6 Cups of cold water
  • 1 Cup of hot water
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • Ice cubes

  1. Squeeze the lemons, and pour the juice into a pitcher.
  2. Add the cold water.
  3. Mix the hot water and sugar together, stir until sugar melts, and add to pitcher.
  4. Add ice, stir, and enjoy!

*Please note that I like my lemonade very sour. So definitely fool around with the water & sugar combination until you find what tastes best to you!*





Want to try something extra delicious?? Add some fresh grated ginger. SO GOOD!
