Pumpkin Spice Syrup



I'm going to go ahead and call this '(Not so) Basic Bitch Pumpkin Spice Syrup', although there's nothing "basic" about it.

We've all seen the articles written about how terrible Starbuck's pumpkin spice syrup is. (And for those of you who missed it, Read this) not only does it not contain ANY TRACE of pumpkin, it's chocked full of disgusting ingredients. Our syrup at Mott's actually isn't anything to be scared of and definitely doesn't contain anything you can't pronounce, but I really just wanted my own homemade pumpkin spice syrup made with only a little effort and lots of love.

This recipe is adapted from Martha Stewart, except the baking temp is changed. Best shortcake biscuits EVER.
